Newtown is a fantastic place to live in where you could get immersed in the strong artistic atmosphere so that it can boost quality for many overseas students but not most of you. Based on different demands, we design this blog to cater for you.After weighing pros and cons, we decided to demonstrate our discovery through 5 different parts including culture and lifestyle, safety, access to service, transport and entertainment .
Lifestyle here is various which means in Newtown perhaps you do not have to pretend to live your life in an unexpected way to accommodate other people.But here everyone deserves and is encouraged to show their personalities and express their feelings from the bottom of heart. So do whatever you want, live a life you want and that could be amazing for many overseas students to feel at home and get familiar with the new area at an early time.

Social activities here can be various and enjoyable. For international students especially those majoring in art, your social engagement in Newtown is probably more than others because open-air music festivals and art shows in gallery are held from time to time. Therefore, living in Newtown may help you gather more artistic and fashion-forward information and even could be somewhere your inspiration come from.
As a suburb of Sydney’s inner west, it is located approximately four kilometers south-west of the Sydney central business district.And the distance between Newtown and USYD is just 1.6 kilometers.Thus, It only takes 11 minutes for business students to the university of Sydney business school and 8 minutes to the faculty of science. In addition, literally Newtown Station is an important spot via multiple routes of transportation on city traffic map so you could probably take trains to anywhere.
